How do I cancel my account? I don’t want to be charged for a membership renewal and don’t want to worry about it.
The American Killifish Association is does not auto-renew memberships. Your membership will expire in 2027 and will not renew unless you manually renew.
Since this is a public forum, if you have specific questions about your membership, please contact the Membership Chair at aka.membership@aka.org or the Webmaster at webmaster@aka.org
Good evening, Adam
Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry I haven’t replied to you sooner that the AKA and services provided by the AKA have not met your expectations. My lack of response and the tardiness of the AKA response is my fault and not a reflection on the AKA. I had family emergency that required me to be out of town and unable to answer emails. One of our AKA mentors, Rick Ivik responded to initial comments and sent it to me for my opinion, but I wasn’t able to respond and please accept my apology.
Both Sarah and Rick have reached out to you explaining the virtues of the AKA and all the new and exciting things we are working for the membership. Since your membership doesn’t expire till 2027, you will have an opportunity to use the see and use the features and hopefully the improvements and changes you see will have you reconsider renewing your membership. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss your concerns and feedback.
