Everything Aquatic Food Question
Oct 17th, 2020 at 12:53pm

I'm curious whether anybody has ever used Everything Aquatic's Killifish Color Micro Feast granules. I'm not super experienced with killies (only working with 1 species currently), so I'm not sure whether something in the ingredients list or granule form specifically works well for killies or whether the name is just a marketing tactic. What do you all feed besides live brine and other live foods?

My main go to for killifish foods are baby brine shrimp, adult brine shrimp, spirulina flake and frozen blood worms.  Grindal and white worms are great if you can keep the cultures going.

I rarely use any dry food (and then, simply a decent flake crushed up) - but, living in Florida with a wetland in my backyard does have some advantages

Hi.  I use Xtreme PeeWee Community pellets for gardneri and epiplatys (larger killies).  Even Simpsonichthys constanciae will eat it when larger but it takes some work.  I generally feed flake or pellet food in morning (except for fish that refuse them) and live/frozen foods in the late afternoon.
