All memberships include a subscription to our printed quarterly journal (JAKA), the monthly digital Business Newsletter, and full access to the member-only library and roster.

How to Join as a New Member
1. Navigate to the Membership Levels Page
- Visit aka.org.
- Click the “Join” button in the main menu (or the Join button below).
- This will take you directly to the Membership Levels page.
2. Select Your Membership Tier Choose the option that matches your mailing address.
- US 1 Year: For residents of the United States.
- Mexico / Canada 1 Year: For residents of Mexico and Canada
- International 1 Year: For all other international residents.
- Action: Click the “Select” button under your chosen tier.
3. Create Your Account & Profile You will be directed to the Membership Checkout page.
- Account Info: Create a Username and Password.
- Contact Info: Enter your Email Address (crucial for login) and Full Name.
- Mailing Address: Enter the address where you want to receive your JAKA magazine.
4. Complete Payment
- Credit Card (Stripe): Recommended for immediate access.
- PayPal: Also available for secure payments.
- Check: If you select “Pay by Check,” your account will remain “Pending” until the treasurer physically receives and manually processes your check (approx. 10+ days).
5. Confirmation
- Upon successful payment, you will receive a welcome email.
- You can immediately log in to access the Member Roster, Library, and other restricted content.
- Tip: Check your Spam/Junk folder if the email does not arrive instantly.
How to Renew an Expired Account
1. Log In First
- Visit aka.org and click “Log In”.
- Enter your existing username and password.
- Important: You must be logged in before renewing. If you create a new account instead of logging in, you will lose your past membership history.
2. Select Your Renewal Level
- Once logged in, navigate back to the “Join / Renew” page (the Membership Levels page).
- Select the tier you wish to renew (e.g., US 1 Year).
- Note: You can switch tiers here if you have moved to a different region (e.g., moved from the US to Canada).
3. Review Your Information
- On the Checkout page, your contact information will be pre-filled.
- Please verify your Mailing Address is current to ensure you receive future issues of the JAKA.
4. Complete Payment
- Select Credit Card (Stripe) or PayPal to complete the transaction.
- Your expiration date will automatically be extended by one year from your previous expiration date (or from today, if the account was already expired).
