I’ve been a member in the past, the 70’s, 90’s and now starting from scratch again.
I intend to build my own tanks and was wondering if anyone knows where to obtain the extruded plastic, used in commercial tanks, that goes around the top of the tank and creates a ledge to rest a lid on?

I would get mine at a custom plastic supplier; when I lived in the Seattle area there was ‘Tap plastic’, nice place on the Eastside as I recall.
Google’d probably be a help to you for your area. Online’d be tough the shipping might be pretty high.
