Breeding Notes |
First breeding report on this sp. from the original description where eggs were said to be large & deposited in fine plants & mops in the lower levels. Eggs could be left with the parents. Incubation time 15 days at 23-25°C. Fry required infusoria as a starter food going on to newly hatched brine shrimp. Growth reported as fast with sexual maturity at 6 months. Full size takes 12 months. |
