A great time was had by all! The event was held at Casa Leuterman for the second consecutive year. A new interior arrangement and approximately one hundred fewer pair of fish made it all work just fine. The biggest plus is that this year 100% of the show was held inside and thus we all avoided the 102 degrees F!
It is now the following Sunday (August 11th) and just about everything is back in somewhat normal order! Only the fish that were won by proxy bidders remain in my fish room continuing to be fattened up for their next plane ride. They will go out tomorrow morning and then i can finalize tanking my remaining purchases/gifts.
There were so many new, gorgeous and uncommon fish available both in the show and auction. A huge thanks to all those fish fanatics that were so generous with their fish and supported TAKO at our event. We had members from the DFW, Austin, Bryan areas present both days as well as a guest speaker from Massachusetts! Thanks to everyone again.
