Habitat

See A.georgiae for collection data by Roland Numerich in February 1987. Collected in a stream with a depth of 20-50 cm with a base of sand or fine fragments of iron. The fish was found singly or in small groups of 5-6. Roland reported that he never found the sp. in large shoals. No material collected made it back to captivity. They were found to be very sensitive to standing water which would make their fins clamp up & their body turn white.
