500 metres north of Yreah, situated approximately 20 km north of Tapeta, central Liberia. Collected in a water course 40 cm wide & 10 cm deep. |

Swampy perimeters of creeks & small rivers in rainforested areas. The type locality was a shallow water course completely shaded by trees of a rubber plantation. The water was brown, containing rotting branches & fallen leaves, pH 6, DH less than 1° |
