I agree.  I've tried to reply to posts that I can contribute to but there seems to be a very limited effort by the masses.  I've posted things and have seen many views but rarely a response.  I'm not sure what it would take to make the rest of the membership to participate.

I agree that forum participation could be improved.  I also think it's a challenge to compete against Facebook and other social media platforms.  Perhaps the AKA Board and Leadership can think up some ideas to make the forum a more active space?

Some ideas I can think of:

1. Post summaries or highlights of relevant forum discussions on the BNL to bring attention to the forum

2. Posting on AKA events, both to promote those that are upcoming and a recap past events

3. AKA leadership posts proposals for member feedback, perhaps with the use of polls and surveys

4. Posting some content from the BNL for comments and feedback

5. There's probably a way to automate periodic email updates to membership of active forum topics
