Title: Tagging or Permanently Marking Female Killifish
Post by James Langan on Mar 26th, 2019 at 11:14am
Good Morning Everyone,

I have several females of a species that I would like to raise the fry individually from each other from each parent.  I don't have the tank space to keep each female in a desperate tank. So... I am wondering if anyone has researched a systematic way to tag or otherwise mark each female so I can keep them identified while they are in a tank together when not breeding.

Please let me know, thanks in advance,

Jim Langan, AKA Webmaster

Hi Jim -
A little late (okay...a lot late), but I just came across this article at ResearchGate

Haven't tried any, but they look like some good possibilities.
