Title: International Shipping to US Post by Walter Rissmeyer on Jul 24th, 2018 at 1:20pm
Hi,
I'm new to Killifish and have noticed some interesting species on Aquabid available from overseas sellers. I realize survival can be an issue coming from so far away with long shipping times, possible delays, heat, etc. I've been told eggs are fine but I wasn't sure about actual fish. Is legal to receive fish in the US? Thanks. |

I have received fish from overseas a couple of times. I do not think it is illegal. Success rate depends on where it is coming from and the time it takes in shipping. Eggs are usually OK with annual species, but the non annual species eggs can be a problem if they are subjected to a long ship time which may result in them hatching before they get to you.
