I bought this Killi from Segrest as a "N. Massoni".
Where can I find a good database? Any idea of what this fish is and where it comes from? Thank you for your time! |

From the name I would guess hassoni. I found this photo of hassoni: https://www.bubbashrimp.be/us/bubbas-fishs-nothobranchius-hassoni-couple.html which is reminiscent of your fish. But in, all honesty, it doesn't much look like the fish Bela Nagy collected: https://wildnothos.wixsite.com/wildnothos/nothobranchius?lightbox=image1q99 https://wildnothos.wixsite.com/wildnothos/nothobranchius?lightbox=i71qlt There is some resemblance to the Kasamba River population. You should contact Bela directly and inquire whether this represents the normal range of variation for this species. |
