Title: Showing Fish at Convention
Post by Tina Ronald on Jan 4th, 2018 at 12:43pm
I am excited that the 2018 convention is in MI.  I need to know what the steps are to get my fish to the show and details on showing for a new breeder.  How many you can take or send.  Do I have to be there? Etc.

I think fish registration starts in March, so there should be more detailed instructions on this site then, but here are a couple of things.

You may bring entries in person, have someone bring them for you, or mail them in.  All entries become property of AKA and are auctioned off with AKA retaining the proceeds.  Pre-registering saves everybody a lot of toime and is highly recommended.

I don't believe there's any limit to your total number of entries, but there might be a limit on the number of the same fish/location you can enter.

Hopefully you can attend.  If you think you've got the bug now, wail until you see hundreds of killifish in the same place.

Thank you Jim.  I am excited.  Another question.  Can you bring pairs or singles?
