Title: Raising Live Daphnia... Post by Jim Middleton on Sep 17th, 2025 at 10:27am
New to Killifish, I read about how good live Daphnia was for them. At some expense, I went online and ordered a small starter culture along with a green water culture.
The starter culture only had 60 Daphnia of mixed sizes but I followed instructions and set up a test using a two gallon Critter Keeper. Two to three weeks later, with the help of a 6500K LED, I have hundreds of Daphnia, ready to populate a larger tank! ![]() |
