Type Locality

Situated in the upper Sassandra River area of western Ivory Coast between Duékoué & Man.

First recorded reports of breeding this sp. come from Vollrad Etzel in 1975.

Breeding Notes

According to Huber's Killi-Data young take 20 weeks to become sexually mature & 6 months to reach full maturity. Lifespan in captivity is reportedly 3-4 years.
