A thread on the AKA newsgroup July 2000 brought these 3 photos online. All were purchased as Akamkpa in the USA. Doubts were cast as to their true identity.

The 'Akkamkpa spot' in the anal fin is present although it has moved more centrally.

Akkamkpa Jay had 2 colour forms from the same parents, this lighter form & the dark form on the right.

This photo sent from the USA. Possibly Akkamkpa. Note spot in anal fin which has moved away from the edge & less spotted body in the rear half. Note also the line of spots above/behind pectoral fin.
