Geography
This location comes with a multitude of different names. Every map seems to give different spellings. Eyumojok is more common but you will also find Eymojok used by Scheel in ROTOW 1. US military maps show it as Oyomojok.
It is situated just north of Lake Ejagham. Tributaries of this Lake are the type locality of Fp.gardneri lacustris.
History
Scheel caught many fish in different locations on the Mamfe plains, western Cameroon in 1966. He brought back fish collected near Eyumojok, west of Mamfe to Denmark for further research.

Notes
This population was confused with the mini killie in 1971 after Fred Wright mentioned that it looked like Eyumojok. Whilst the first photo published in the AKA Journal does look similar, fish imported into the USA as the mini-killie looked more like Fp.gardneri gardneri.
