Aphyosemion sp. Bitter & Aphyosemion sp. Hellner

One of the threads on the AKA newsgroup concerned A.sp.Bitter. Not having seen either of the above fish I did a little digging for photos & information.
The first photo reminded me of A.ogoense, the second A.escherichi & the third A.cameronense. I decided to put the whole lot on their own page until something has been sorted out.

Collected in the northern part of Massif du Chaillu in Gabon.

The sp. name refers to Friedrich Bitter.

Bill Shenefelt commented that they were not easy to breed & he only raised 3 females & 1 male from his original stock.

Aphyosemion sp. Hellner

A.sp. Hellner. I don't know who took this photo but it's the only one I can find to illustrate the fish.
Another photo can be found on the DKG site - http://www.fische-killifische.de/Galerie/Aphyosemion/GBH_01-24/gbh_01-24.html

The sp. name refers to Stefan Hellner. The collection code on the photo is GBH 01 / 24. This location is Sindara.

Also collected & distributed was an Epiplatys which was called Epiplatys sp. Sindara GBH 01 / 24. This was in the KFN convention 2006 at least so it has been around for 5 years at least. A photo exists on a French forum - http://forum.aquagora.fr/9/les-images-du-congrs-du-kcf-(laschamps)/msg132811/#msg132811 - you need to scroll down about half way.
Also one on a German forum - http://vivaristikforum.forengott.eu/topic2922.html - again you need to scroll down half way.
Their was talk on this forum about the collection trip TDK 97 where collection reference 28 was collected behind the village of Sindara. This was referred to as E.sp.aff.singa.
