PEG 95/9 - Forest stream 6 kms west of
Mékambo. The collectors were shown the stream by an elderly man
on the 29th December at 10.30 am. This stream was called the Mékéndé
& was situated at the village of Baya Mbéla. E.neumanni,

Type Locality |
Given as '35 km south of Sembe before the village Gouanéboum in the direction of Mékambo, at a track to Gabon passable only by bicycle'. This was location RPC 149 (sometimes seen as JH 149). |

Limited to the type locality, a small brook in the upper Ivindo River drainage, northern Congo. |

History |
Discovered by Huber in 1978 in Congo-Brazzaville
at collecting location 149, 35 km south of Sembe near the village of
Gouaneboum. This area was accessed by bicycle down a track towards Mekambo,
Gabon. The return journey was made by car & moped & was made
through primeval forest paths. |
