U
Code set up by the BKA in 1970.
Not to be confused with Nothobranchius 'U' codes.
U 1 | Formerly named Aphyosemion seymouri but later changed to Pronothobranchius kiyawensis. |
U2 |
An Aphyosemion sp. which came in with Aphyosemion elegans (?) in a 1971 shipment from Central Congo. These fish were spawned. I have to wonder how females were seperated. In BKA newsletter 76, December 1971 it was described as :- 'Basic colouration of head & flanks is of a bright blue & having fine carmine spotting rather widely spaced & giving an impression of vertical bars, caudal bluish & edged carmine'. |
