Our next meeting will be the traditional summer meeting to be held at the home of Beth Valentine and Barry Cooper. The meeting will start at about noon and go until whenever. Attendees are welcome to camp out on our grounds if they wish to stay overnight. We have 20 acres, so we should be able to accommodate everyone. We will provide the traditional BBQ chicken, some beer and other drinks, and salads.

The address is:

27505 Riggs Hill Rd.
Sweet Home, OR 97386

Directions: From the north take I5 south to exit 228, which is sign-posted to Corvallis and Lebanon. Do NOT take the prior exit to OR 20, which is signposted to Sweet Home and Lebanon. At the exit ramp turn left onto OR 34 towards Lebanon. About 4-5 miles on you will see an exit to Denny School Rd. There is a turn lane on the right and you want to be on that. You will recognize the turnoff by the big overhead signs for truck routes through Lebanon. Turn right on Denny School Rd. and continue on it as is swings to the left. It becomes Airport Rd. and will bring you out at OR 20, opposite Safeway. Turn right onto 20 and continue through Sweet Home township. On the far (east) side of town the road will narrow to one lane. Right after that you will turn right onto Wiley Creek Drive. One mile up that road you will see Riggs Hill Rd. on the left. Turn right there. Our house is a few hundred yards up the hill on your right. You will see the number on a post at the entry to the driveway. You will probably see a bloody big tree cutting machine parked on the left side of the driveway, unless a miracle happens and the guy who owns it moves it. (It is on his land, not ours). You can park anywhere you find space.

From the south you get off I5 at the same exit and follow above. From the Eugene area take 228 to OR 20, turn right and follow the above.

Call me at 541-367-2568 or on my cell at 541-409-8586 if you need help.
