On the Monday of the convention, we will present a workshop on Fish Diseases. The workshop will be held in teaching labs at Mt. Hood Community College, where we will have access to microscopes and teaching aids such as overhead projectors. The workshop will be presented by Tim Miller-Morgan, DVM. Tim is a veterinarian who specializes in ornamental aquatic animal health. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Oregon State University and Extension Veterinarian at the Hatfield Marine Science Center. He is also Staff Veterinarian at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. He holds a number of other consultative and teaching positions. Tim travels widely speaking to hobbyist groups, where he is enthusiastically received. Tim will also give a talk on Saturday. This is an optional activity carrying a fee, to be paid at registration. We will arrange transport to and from the college. |
