Things to Do

There is lots to do in Oregon. Portland has a number of interesting gardens, including the International Test Rose Garden (top left), the Japanese Garden & the Classical Chinese Garden. We particularly recommend a visit to the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden. The rhodies will be in bloom in May and it should be spectacular. On Memorial weekend there is the annual Memorial Weekend in the Wine Country event. You may choose to spend the Monday after the convention visiting some wineries.

You could also plan a trip before or after the convention to the coast. Alternatively you might want to visit the mountains. Both are spectacular.
